It was at Rothesay that Jock met an old farmer
friend, Sandy, who, despite his native cannieness, had at last been brought to
the alter. After congratulating Sandy, Jock asked how the bride was enjoying
the honeymoon.
"Oh" said Sandy "A didna bring her. She's been
in Rothesay afore".
